  1. Sounds interesting, let us know how it goes! :-)
  2. Although I am pretty sure you didn't mean it the way it can be read - running bulk orders are is not as much fun as it sound and does actualy involve work. Lots of it.
  3. I assume you are refering to the mb6582, which is one of the implementations of a MIDIBox SID v2. You can have the panels made outside of a bulk order as well. The .fpd files are available on the WIKI, all you need to do is read the info on them carefully and order them from Schaeffer or Frontpanel Express.
  4. Vista war mehr eine public alpha, wie seiner Zeit Windows ME ;) Von Windows7 hab ich bisher eigentlich nur Gutes gehört (zumindest von denen die es tatsächlich verwenden).</os-wars>
  5. Then buy them. Period. SmashTV sells them, microchipdirect sells them, a bunch of other stores sell them as well: http://octopart.com/info/Microchip/PIC18F4685-I/PT Seppoman is in Germany. If money is not the issue then just buy them ffs.
  6. And also I bit my tongue not to say: "Best way for placing CS risers AFTER a board has been populated: Time machine" ;) Man one of those things would be handy. Just a 20 second go-back-only one would do. Kinda like real-life edit -> undo :D
  7. LEDs do go bad on a regular basis. Regular being every 10 or so years. And yes, replacing them is doable. The hot glue never gets really hard and you can always just heat it up and it'll get soft again anyways.

Musicman: Ich schau mir das jetzt schon 'ne Weile an - tu Dir bitte dringend den Gefallen und lies. Viel. Am besten alles. Offenbar fehlen Dir ein paar elementare Grundkenntnisse - was nicht weiter schlimm ist, allerdings hilft es zu wissen, was man eigentlich vorhat ;) http://www.ucapps.de <- da anfangen.
  9. If it's floating a good bit of it is over the water level atm. So melting is like actually dropping it in the water ;)
  10. http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php/topic,11099.0.html ;-)
  11. "of course"
  12. Welcome aboard LoFi Ninja ;) Erm, no. There's neither AIN* nor AOUT "modules" on that PCB. You don't need those anyways so it's all good. Patience and your reading glasses, that's about all you need. *There's J5 which can be used as AIN of course, but no real AIN modules.
  13. Arcadechips.com sells the ones that are making Noise, too - at least they did to me. And ordering there takes a while. A _whiiiiiiaaaaaaalll_. ;)
  14. MEGA-UBER-SUPER-DUPER-BUMP! :D
  15. The phrase you're looking for is "send to me for proper disposal" ;)
  16. Same in german. Wanna counter? Mention the pokey. ;)
  17. Full ack, there's some stories to be told alright ;-) Since there's always gotta be an asshole, I plan to take this role this time. First, I'll change my order and address 17 times (in turns), every once in a while going back to a number of knobs/address I already gave you to add to the confusion. I will be using different eMail addresses and signatures for each one of these eMails. Then I'll cancel the order alltogether due to lack of funds, thenthree weeks later I'll ask to get the knobs cause I came into some money, then I'll tell you 43 different stories why I haven't sent it yet over a period of 9 months and the finally - when you snap - I'll bitch about what an ass you are for not holding my knobs for me. Ha! Take that Goblinz! :D "Wink, nudge, ..."
  18. http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/gm5x5x5 - pay special attention to the FAQ #1 ;) Then maybe go here: http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=gm5x5x5_pcb_bulk_order
  19. The tacts are good, I've used them before. Can't really comment on the 0.5mm height difference but I don't think that should be an issue ;)
  20. Yay, that's how you do proper wiring! Nice job :D
  21. That seems to have helped ;-)
  22. I just had that 20x2 laying around. That's why I used it.
  23. Do monitors count as light?
