  1. ah, good call. I had the filter on for clock in midiox. That was it :)
  2. So I noticed something when testing all my modules today, with the STMF4 core and 1 midi I/O connected, when an event is routed to the IIC ports, all the LEDs come on instead of just the one for the port in use. The data is going to the right port (and only that port) but all the LEDs come on regardless of the port assignment. Is this software bug?
  3. That's the switch and that's an insanely good price. They are $2.7 in the US I used 1Q096 for the clear windowed ones and 1P09 for the solid (both black) Documentation is really bad for the 3F switches for some reason and the site you linked has the best one: http://www.soselectronic.com/a_info/resource/h/MEC/3F.pdf . You need to be careful when choosing those since they make the same style cap for all the various switches they make and you need to make sure that you have one for the 3F or 4F switch

  5. totally forgot about this thread, sorry. My case file and graphics files are attached. The two illustrator files differ with the holes for the screws to attach the PCB to the front panel. I recommend using the one WITHOUT those holes, its better to countersink the screws and cover them with the sticker. You can mess up the sticker if you screw down on top of it MB808.rar
  6. might take you up on that coupon, have some 4 layer stuff that needs to be fabbed
  7. MEC Switches! You want the 3FTH9 tact, this takes TH LEDs and you can even modify it to use 3 pin ones (for the sequencer). The extenders are 2S09-5.0 (5.0 being the length in increments of 1 from 5.0 to 10.0)
  8. duh. keep thinking 7 pins for some reason
  9. Hmm. I still have the files for the version I did before Smash did his.. Maybe time to touch that up with a different 7pin connector?
  10. Spoke too soon, same problem. Interfaces still disappear from the midi device list but remain in the device manager :(
  11. I've thought about that. I dont know if I want to use 5V off the euro header, that seems to be frowned on. If there is room, I'll add a 5V Reg and have jumpers to power it from the core as well
  12. After some thought, I have a couple design changes and have a control surface board ready. Line driver receiver is no longer part of this, it makes more sense to use the stock one since A) its more economical room wise since all the parts are perpendicular to the board B) people will be able to mount it where ever they please More room means more outputs: module will now have CV/Gate/Clock/triggers LED indicators for the gate I've provisioned the boards for either +5 from the euro power or from the core. Testing will be needed to see which works better. This is pretty much done as far as the routing, everything passed DRC and what not but I encourage people to glance at it to see if I made any mistakes. Jack board. Schemactic: The Aout Board And the 12HP panel. People will be able to place the line driver wherever they like, it does not have to be mounted to the panel.
  13. A good DSO will change the way you work and debug. Get real familiar on how to add various functions to the displays (duty cycle, DC offset, peak to peak, etc), I find those functions as usefull as displaying the wave form, Also one of these came in real handy for the TTSH: http://erthenvar.com/store/audio-cables/3.5mm-to-bnc/3.5mm-to-bnc-100
  14. cool. confirmed it passed the bot at ponoko. $36 with prime :)
  15. Oh, that reminds me. So u have the laser cut part finalized? I've got prime for Ponoko for another couple weeks so I could do a US run
