1. Sounds interesting, let us know some more about this when you get one up and running!
 2. Thanks for the tips.... I'm in hope that I can get the seq/controller bits of it working as apparently they appear to be good. Just wait untill you see the photos of it before you go wishing that you had found it.... tis bad!
 3. I've been given an old Korg ES-1 mkII. It's in a bit of a state.... It looks like it's been dumped in a skip and had a load of bricks piled on top of it before being taken out and run over several times. It was found by a friend in the bottom of a bush covered in water.... Maybe ai'm going a little crazy by thinking there is still hope for it. I've not had it on yet as I don;t have an adaptor but my mate says the unit powers on, lights up, appears to play a sequence butthe only noise to come out is a dull buzz. After stripping it down the PCB doesn't look in too much of a state..... a bit of corrosion around some solder points and a small bit is chipped of the circuilt board corner whihc could be patched up (2 kayer board) easily. i doubt this is causing the buzzing though as it appears to just be the routing for some of the sequencer buttons. I was just wondering if anybody had or knew where I could get some schematics from so that I could identify all the different bits. I'm hoping that it's just the pre-amp chip or something that's causing the buzzing. I'll post some pictures tonight anyway... will be quite a project, but very amusing if I could get it going, even if it's just the sequencer that works! thanks.
 4. Never noticed it as I always use passwords with mixed case and numbers.... It's basic security. If you're not bothered by security then use your name with a capital letter at the start and stick a "1" on the end
 5. Thank god! Was getting depressing to see it unsold for so long!

 17. I've just had to look this up and though it would be of use to people here (I searched on the forum and couldn't find anything)

micro-Farads (uF)Nano-Farads (nF)Pico-Farads (pF)

0.0000010.0011

0.000010.0110

0.00010.1100

0.00111000

0.011010000

0.1100100000

110001000000

101000010000000

100100000100000000

19. Great stuff. Still waiting for payments from 3 people and a bank transfer to clear from another. I will be sending out PM's/Emails when I get back from my break.
 20. Can somebody double check for an adam's apple and tell-tale large hands?... Site has now been banned at work!
 21. http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/fees.html Looks like it would be £1.30 to list the item (I think it's a little more if you want to adda few images and sound clips). And then the Final value fee would be £40. Paypal would charge 3.4% + £0.20 of the sale price as a transaction fee. The Western Union fee would probably be between £35 - £45 (which is expensive), Although I think the chances of getting a buyer to send this much money via western union are very remote as it's notoriously dodgy and can be used for illegal activity. http://www.natwest.com/personal/travel-international/g2/international-payments/send-money-abroad.ashx I can send money through my bank.... "Standard Transfer" would be £20 and there is also a fee for you to receive which you will have to investigate.... I can opt to have the receiver pay all of these fees. The best way would probably to list it on my ebay account and make sure the listing states that it is based in Serbia and may take a couple of weeks to arrive. I've just seen your ebay listing.... it looks fine, although, as mentioned earlier people may be wary of the western union thing... You could setit up again on your ebay and list my paypal account, just bear in mind that Including all fees it will cost you £61.39 plus your receving fee to send it (based on selling for £550 = £35 postage)... You should still end up with around 500EUR for it though. Give it another couple of weeks on here (have you tried advertising on ladyada too?) and we can talk then.
 22. It'd get snapped up super quick on ebay... would you have problems receiving payment in Serbia? If you get stuck then I could probably take paypal payment and transfer the funds over to you.
 23. Yep, what's wrong with these people? Would be nice if it went in to the midibox community rather than ebay. I'd take it myself but am already building two of them, I don't think I can justify a third ;)
 24. Still waiting for payment from four people. I need this in by tomorrow as I don't want to risk fronting the moeny myself due to previous let downs. If you want to cancel your order then please let me know. Thanks, Eddie
