  1. 1- How much lower? One of my Sids has a slightly different level.. not much, but enough to effect the stereo imaging in my headphones. 2- Have you moved around the SID chip to see if it follows the SID? 3- Have you checked the resistors in the passive mixer? (Near the Jack sockets) Regards Mike
  2. No, I got the laser cutter (Rick) to fold it. Cheers Mike
  3. ...And the back of your eyeballs. ;]
  4. You mean MicroTonal tuning? As in some other tuning besides the 12 tone scale? I don't think that microtuning is supported with MIDI.. I could be wrong? Regards Mike
  5. oh.. forgive my manners. It likes long walks along the beach, and candle lit dinners. It's looking for a friend, with possible options for a stronger relationship. It was drawn by me using AutoCad & made by Rick Tait at www.lcne.com.au He's located in the outer reaches of Sydney. (Australia) Including postage, the case cost about $140 AU.. (I can't remember exactly -- somewhere between $120 & $150) It's made out of 1.2mm galv coated mild steel.. It'll get painted white with nice timber sides. The buttons are black, with built in red LED's. As mentioned in my other 'work in progress' post for my MB-6582, If anyone here is going to use him (In Australia or even NZ) make sure you mention my name (Mike) and this Synth DIY forum.. I would be good if we can get a good relationship with him.. maybe even, for some projects, look into a bulk order if the right project comes along.. I'm looking at re-building one of my sequencers with him and also getting the face for mu UREI 1176 clone done via him. Regards Mike
  6. Hey all.. I'm helping a mate with his sequencer, and we got this panel back from the laser cutters.. I'll post more pics when it's stuffed etc.. It's going to have all panel mount buttons - It'll be pretty much bullet proof. Regards Mike

...welcome to the world of hardware samplers... You should try doing keysplits/zones on a Prophet2000 sampler or, an Ensoniq Mirage... talk about fun. Thank god they sound so good to make up for their arse of a interface..
  8. Hey there, what do you mean by this? ^^^ Are the 2 LED's in the right way? (Polarity) Are all your LED's the same make & colour? It's strange that just those two LED's don't work.. do they flash briefly when you turn your MB-6582 on? (I think all LED's do very briefly) It might be that the LED's are just broken, and need to be replaced.. If so, cut them out, then desolder each leg one at a time, instead of trying to desolder the whole LED at once. Good luck. Regards Mike
  9. I won them. $92US I'll keep you all informed Cheers Mike
  10. Cheers for that.. Is it possible to implement just 4 states instead of 7.. I can see how 7 states would be a bit tedious while editing etc.. I'd mostly use all 3 to change the amplitude envelopes at once.. Best regards Mike
  11. Hey TK, could you please add all oscillators to be able to be selected with the Oscillator select button.. (For the MB-6582 etc) Currently, it cycles through 1 , 2, then 3.. Could you please make it go - "1,2,3 then (1 & 2 & 3)" if that makes any sense? This can be selected with the menu (All 3 selected at once) but it would be super if it could be done with the control surface.. Kind regards Mike
  12. Ok.. it seems as if I'm gonna the one to try and get these screens. (It also seems as if no one here is the original bidder) I'll prob get em posted to me, so I can check them. (yep, it'll cost more, but who wants to buy a broken screen?) After I've got em & checked em, I'll run a very very small sell off of the rest. This all hinges on the fact that I can get em in the first place. (I live in Australia) Regards Mike
  13. Is Wilba now subcontracting work out to you? hehe.. ;]
  14. er... no. he didn't say that.. Still no confirmation on who is bidding.. 23 hours to go. If no one get's back, I'll just buy all of them all and roll around with them in bed here in Australia.
  15. Which one? the screens or da mackie controller? Can we get a confirmation that s o m e o n e is going to bid on them? It'd be rather sad if we all bumped up the price for no reason.. Regards Mike
  16. I agree... the 106 is very over-rated IMHO.. it sounds a bit to pure and thin, while the 6 and 60 sounds massive and chunky. Regards Mike
  17. Damn.. maybe a few things got fried.... Try some simple measurements... is it spitting out CV from it's CV out (If so, does it change with different keypresses etc)? Is the trigger out working (Short to ground trigger) If not, maybe a whole heap of op-amps got toasted.. I think there is one big custom chip inside the CS5.. I H O P E that is OK. I think from here on in, you'll need a oscilliscope to find out whats else is going on... Goodc luck. Regards Mike
  18. I'm from Sydney, And I'm 100% down for 2, so I demand to be moved up the list!!! Also, has anyone here bid on them yet? They have a biter. Regards Mike
  19. Ok, he got back to me and said shipping and handling to Australia is $39.00 (US) Is anyone here gonna buy the lot of 14? I was hoping to grab them, but I've just bought a few new toys (Wurlitzer piano + mooger phaser) so that has cut my spending for a week or so. They sure would look bitchin in a sequencer..
  20. Did you measure the output from the power supply PCB? Regards Mike
  21. Cool!! Where do I sign up for the bulk order? Will smash be making the dress? Can I have mine in a different colour? Regards Mike
