  1. Well if you have a solution for your problem already then why don't you simply add that to your code and be done? It sounds like you know how to do it!?
  2. Because he is using Target...
  3. The ProControl (early hardware controller for ProTools DAW) had something called the 'Vegas Mode' - always nice to look at and similar to this  .
  4. At least in former times it was part of the deal that you get the Gerbers after your first order. I guess PCB Pool thought they'd make money enough on this scheme for it to be a good deal to them... and they were probably right, but why give away anything if people still accept it?
  5. Wasn't it so that you can get the Gerber files from PCB Pool after your first order? That would be a useful alternative to the Target file!
  6. Wait, you want to throw money at someone you didn't even know at all a day before? Without knowing if he has the boards available? Even though I know Mike and can confirm that he has been a reliable seller in the past, I would not transfer money to an account number I get from someone else (and not himself or his website). Patience is a virtue and can save your a...
  7. That's a typical example of "offsite docu bad" - I know this remark doesn't help your case, but maybe it can serve as a good example for others to archive and document their builds in the MIDIbox Wiki and NOT elsewhere.

Yes, Roland might have saved a few cents on this...
  9. Check all the connections between card reader and core board - that could be a cause if a known to be good card isn't recognized properly.
  10. Hi Isak, I have some leftovers (professionally made, green solder stop, white silkscreen). Check with Mike if he still has them, if not you can contact me!

Wow, that's great - excellent job!
  12. As of today, I have 11 PCBs in hands. I guess I'll order another batch later today, so keep on posting here if you are interested. I'll PM those not in parentheses on the list in a few hours from now for shipping options. Thanks for your patience! 13. Anyone seriously interested in granular synthesis should check out the Hadron Particle Synthesizer that a colleague of mine is developing here in Trondheim. There are some really great sound demos on the Download page under Resources, too. Hadron itself is free, you only pay for the expansion packs (should you need them).
  14. Where are you located? Knowing this might make it easier for a potential seller to consider you!
  15. You bet there will...
  16. chriss kicked out gtxdude, so here goes the complete list again: Quant. | forum name ----------------------- 2 | taximan 2 | JohnnieBee 1 | monokinetic 1 | Acul 1 | rvlt 2 | smidirin 1 | =FFW=> (1 | verpeiler) (1 | jbdiver) (2 | gtxdude) (1 | chriss) Now, anyone else PLEASE add yourself and read the whole thread...

  18. Tracking tells me the boards have arrived in Norway today, but because of the holidays they won't be at my place before next week. If you are interested in getting one, too, put your name on the list so I will eventually order some more when I see enough interest to make another small run reasonable.
  19. From my experience as an Ambika builder I would always recommend going local - find someone near you, in your country or - if you are inside the EU - someone from there. It is so much easier to troubleshoot / get help from people that are close by. Having to send a non-working unit around (and even worse, across toll borders) is a drag, no matter whose fault the problem is or what causes the problem. So, where are you located?
  20. Take a look and put your name on the list. If it is long enough (=enough interest) I'll order another batch of boards. This is not a box but an extension for the SEQv4. Read all about it in the Wiki.
  21. Looking good with the transparent top panel!
  22. For a cheap case I would suggest to make sure that all necessary parts fit on a Ponoko/Formulor P2 format, i.e. 384x384mm. With sneakthief's design this seems to be just about possible, although the total inside height will only be about 31mm - very tight, I guess. Every mm you save in terms of width can be added to the height...
  23. All this is okay if you are buying for yourself - but you want to sell this to others, which I advise against.
  24. Using obscure parts or parts that originate from an obscure source is something I would strongly advise against. It might be okay for a build that you do for yourself, but this is definitely not something you want to be part of a kit that you sell to some other, maybe inexperienced, builders. I am pretty sure you don't want to test each and every component that you are planning to send out, so a word of warning is due here, I think.
  25. Super, dass du den Fehler gefunden hast! Meine Erfahrung sagt auch: PICs sind unglaublich robust - man muss sich schon ganz schön anstrengen, um diese Dinger kaputtzukriegen...
