  1. yea i can never be botherd with leds i might make a panel with them once just for the experience maybe even with labels just for stryd yea if you put it like that i suppose hes getting the best end of the deal i know how valuble i reliable plate cutter is vinyl sign cutters is that the type of place you want regards kris

  6. im rebuilding my box at the moment new toplate layout i might put in a bigger screen even new board etc ill see it works really well as a studio in a box im having loads of fun at the moment using reason/cubase rewired using reason to jam with live muscians drummers didj etc regards kris

  10. thanks for the photos it looks sweet man right up my street sorry to bother you about them but its an issue that keeps coming up for me portable computers its something im thinking about again i want to make a system for live video manipulation options im thinking about are a rack mount pc, something like the pictures you sent me or maybe linking a few mini macs together anyway when it becomes clear ill make it ps did it run quietly pps i know what you mean about photos the ones of my box wher taken when i waqs living in goa im now back in sunny blighty oh well life goes on regards kris

  12. yea ill keep looking im shure ill find some the annoying thing for me is i must have given/thrown away at least six c64 because i didnt have the space to store them and now i would like some sid chips but cant get them doh its a strange world regards kris

  14. i use a riser card in my all in one midi-box but just a single card rigid i tried the flexible ones but had problems but dont let that put you of trying them i looked at making my own so i could mount cards anywhere but it seems theres a power limitation on how far you can extend away from the socket hope that helps kris

  16. i just saw some 8580s on ebay i sent the guy an email about combined postage went back twenty minutes later and there gone these sid chips are like gold dust and i had so many c64 back in the day and gave them away ohwell thats life i suppose regards kris
  17. as i say it sounds like an interesting project i still think i dont fully understand what you are planing but i think the problem is from my side understanding im still not shure if its a hardware synth or software of the options you list i think the linux is probably the best (just my opion) if you decide not to use your retired shuttle i can put it to good use regards kris
  18. sounds like an interesting project you say you have several options then only list one let me just explain what i understand from your post see if ive got it right you want to make a synth that is pc controlled hardware/software ?? this is then controlled by using a midibox based control surface and you want to make this a custom enclosure is that right regards kris
  19. thanks for the replies you get some joysticks that rotate as well as move in two axis ive found the apem series 5000 ive attatched the pdf but i dont think these are compatible with midi-box as these only have 5k pots attached i didnt get a price either i could all ways use two joysticks side by side to control one thing but this would take both hands as to why id want this video has a lot 3 axis parameters RGB etc so it would be handy trackballs could be an option as could virtual controls on touch screens the idea of the joystick with button is a good one as well regards kris Apem 5000 Series.pdf Apem 5000 Series.pdf

  23. hello does anybody know if you can control three or four axis with a touch pad or joystick most are two axis x and y ive looked but havent found anything yet but this doesnt mean it doesnt exist also does voti still do touch pads i couldnt see them on his web site regards kris
