I will take a look at Farnell if I can get what I need for an affordadable price, and if yes, as they are shipping in one day, that could be possible. can you Let me to end of the week to see that peacely? .
  3. hi Ohmstudiste, I'm from France and plane the next month to make an order at Mouser too, so if you can wait I will add your IC in my order then send you them.
  4. hi, save your patch as "fxb" file in cubase (b mean bank) or "fxp" for individual preset. Maybe a bank is better, so I give to the bank your name/nickname.. you can mail the patch at: soundandbreakfast_at_yahoo.fr great thanks :)
  5. Hi, my first VSTi is finished now... a pic of the synth: the VST instrument file: http://soundandbreakfast.org/diy/vst_pluggin.html Pm me if you want the source project. Synth Edit is free. thanks.
  6. me too , I'm still searching an FM kit, so be sure you will find here buyers..
  7. nice and mental, exactly what I need to ear in my car to go working ;)!
  8. or you can choose a "midisport 2*2" midi interface of M-Audio, it's really a rock solid one that you will use for a long time and you will have for a really good price2 ins and 2 outs
  9. hi, you will find the pic of the caps here: http://www.soundandbreakfast.org/shop/caps_bleu.jpg http://www.soundandbreakfast.org/shop/caps_orange.jpg http://www.soundandbreakfast.org/shop/caps.jpg for the caps, I'm no more abble to provide the tact switch, but you can use the ones you want, they just need to be as large as possible. for the datawheel, I do not success, but if you want only one, you can try to mold it yourself using this product: http://www.creavea.com/fimo_boutique-loisirs-creatifs_33.html
  10. Hi, I'm back working on a VST instruments synth based on synth edit. The project is near to be finished, but it's really time consuming, so I'm searching someone that could be interessed to work on the design, for free, cause I want to share it for free. I will provide the source project and the tool to design knob. The work is quiet simple, but a bit long. There is a special app that allow to edit dirtectly the knob (main work) from bmp file. the synth is a FM synth, i'm working on a simple version (2 osc -1 lfo -1 eg) and on a monster one (4 osc -more LFO more EG and lot of routing/effect). I will post some pics tonight one time I'll have quickly organised the CS. Thanks.
  13. Hi, I've just added on our website some new song. The first are from "Gelada" a french group of Indus-Post Punk.. and I highly recomment you to hear "SES: a Sauvage Electro Swing" by Julien, a french guy too..It's a great electro song... Thanks, comment are welcome! http://www.soundandbreakfast.org look at the "musique" section (need flash player).
  14. j'ai un SID6581 si ça te dit, je peux te mettre un pcb corev3 en plus...et le deal est fait ;)
  15. hi, I'm located in France, I think shipping cost will be about 10E.
  16. Hi, I sell my Oakley Filtrex2 Cv filter PCB fully assembled with high quality parts: http://www.oakleysound.com/filtrex.htm there is only one pot that sometime "crack" when you turn it (the main out volume, by the way it's a pot you set one time then don't tweak so much), all other things work fine. It's sound really smooth, with analog LFO and EG. It's can serve as a great line/Instrument/dynamic mic preamp It's a discontinued product, so it's by the way a very rare gear. I will send with it the panel I've done, but it's DIY one, so probably you will prefer to make another one. You have to find a casing by yourself, so it's rather for DIY geeks ;-) It's powered by an high quality transformer, I can rip it to avoid to pay to much shipping charge. The original schematic will be mailed to the buyer. Price start at 120E, it's less than the price of the original parts, hope you will want to add some more buck for my own work on it ;-)...make an offer! all my best..
  17. nice! as I understand you trigg a Sound Canvas with an old Organ, it's right? so what about the original sound of the organ, it's noo more used? Pax Midiboxem.
  18. I aggree! mostly for the mastering. I've spend a lot of time trying to do "mastering", in fact there is nothing so boring and keeping you way from the Music, it's something now I've decided to let to people that is the job. And when you think you have to do different mastering for CDs, for vinyl, for dvd... :-\ The best surely is to do great music, one time that is done, you will probably found some producer that will do all the boring work for you... 8)... but mixing is something that can be realy part of the music, and you have to do it if you want to do self-producted CDs...
  19. I think most of the time on acoustic drum there is Eq and dynamics applied, in live situation it's most often the case...dry take are possible only when the drummer is a "beast" playing on an high quality drum kit , recorded with high level mics...but that thrue that most of the Jazzmen want only ear the recorded drums exactly as it's sound in real...Modern music most of time use a big amount of dynamics... about this link http://www.ziggysono.com/htm_effets/index.php?art=table_frequence&titre=Frequences "passe-bas" mean "low cut" " FONDAMENTALE" mean the freq where is the body of the sound, it's the freq that have to be "alone" and clearly differenciated one from each other " FREQ SENSIBLE" are the important frequencies that you will have to push down if they are problematik, or to push up when you want to add some personnality to the sound, that for example where sound the attack of a snare.. " HARMONIQUES" are the harmonics freqs, usefull to make the sound "bigger" and "larger" it will be more clear this way ;)
  20. here is sme source of info about how to mix acoustics drums, but it's in french (that won't be a problem as for each instrument you will be abble to read which frequencies are important: http://xboxfrenchplay.free.fr/index.php?file=Sections&op=article&artid=9 http://xboxfrenchplay.free.fr/index.php?file=Sections&op=article&artid=7 http://xboxfrenchplay.free.fr/index.php?file=Sections&op=article&artid=6 http://xboxfrenchplay.free.fr/index.php?file=Sections&op=article&artid=5 If you want to play with electronic drums, rather than spending time tweaking compressor and Eqs, I think it's best to spend time to choose your drums and tweak them first on the synth source. A simple advice is to choose them so their respective frequencies don't overlap each other (eg choose a Snare where the "clack" attack freq is different from the "clack" attack freq of the Kick drum, do the same for the body of the sound. What I do is to use a scope frequency analyser when my ears are unsure..) for example, if you want to clearly ear your Kick drum, look for the low freq where it sound nice, push up a bit this freq (eg 250Hz), then push down this same freq on your bass sound. Then choose for your bass a freq that sound great (eg 400Hz), push it a bit up, then lower this same freq on your kick drum.. The purpose of a mix is to give to each part its own place in the freq range...Here is a tab where all important freq for each instrument and voice are listed: http://www.ziggysono.com/htm_effets/index.php?art=table_frequence&titre=Frequences in french too...If you're too borring reading french, I will do a quick translation... If you work with samples, most of the time they are already Eq an compressed, so here too it's best to spend time to choose them. hope that will help..
  21. hi, I think that for such a price as the waves plug cost, you can get all what you need in really good hardware, eg, take a Lexicon PCM91 for time effect (sounding faraway better than the reverb of waves) and some neve comp or chanel strip, but you won't get the possibility to use many instance at the same time, here is the choice. For all dynamics effects, now a lot of software do this job as well as hardware, even if they are cheap.
  22. creamware card do that well, you can route wave driver to asio, asio to wave, gsif to asio , other sound card to analog out, etc...
  23. the only secret for me is "why I don't take one or two days to finish this project" ;-) for the layout, it's quiet simple, I think I've worked on the fly, but I will verify if there is not some note I wrote (I remember me tracing representation of the contact line of my stripboard directly on the schematic from the PDF !) ..At the least, I can extract a layout of my already done bredboard!
  24. why not using this cv input: with the 3378 you can with a lfo routed to send two patch in the filter (two patch slighty differents, that must sound cool) and use the VCA of the main output for tremolo..or with the other type you can do stereo effect.. I've used the shematic as given in the original datasheet and it work well with Aout LC modules.
