  1. im interested in that CEM VCF, what are your prices?
  2. thats great, however the EX800 has a clone.. the SIEL EX80.. and i would be most interested in encoders working like this.. with the flippety floppety thing.. dont wanna sacrifice a whole core or even a pic to this. i like it simple.. however if people have cracked this firmware too, that would be to die for..
  3. thats a german cheapo supermarket..
  4. transfer pleasure to the button belove.. sounds HOT.. but on a more serious note.. ive thought of using membrane buttons for my yet to build tr-style seq.. however after a heart to heart with smash.. ive decided against that.. in 5 years time.. im cleaning out the contacts every so often.. i really dont want that.. also ive found nice non tactile (clickety click) buttons that were originally on a nintendo NES.. so i would suggest searching using more robust ways of doing what you want.. there is a reason your remote doesnt work after 5 years of heavy use..
  5. im glad to hear you figured it out.. nice going!
  6. received the goods, in a great big box. that was really fast Dengel.. A++! NLX, please contact me.. thnx.
  7. sorry wilba, i'm up 24 hours straight.. cant think straight even if my life depended on it. i thought the option that i chose had the word ugly in it.. it doesnt.. it says dislike.. still doesnt say what i actually mean.. i think my explanation above says what i wanted 2 say.. except for the ugly part.. however i'll try to get my opinion more clear than that (if i was fully awake and 100% in my right mind, i could have said what i mean in less than half the words but i cant right now) i love your design.. especially the second one.. and now that you have explained your intention, i can say that you have completed that succesfully.. its the best midibox ive seen, from a design and engineering standpoint.. i fully applaud what you are doing and looking at all the attention its getting (what? like 100 full "clones"?) so do the others.. i have another goal set for my MB_SID, my goal is not better, my goal is different.. and luckily we all support each other! so .. ehm.. er.. well that it i guess.. again i am marvelled at the insides of your MB_6582.. and thats why im eagerly awaiting my PCB :D oh, and i heard you are thinking about the MB_FM.. i wish you all the best with that.. love to see what you can do with that little puppy :D
  8. i actually voted both #gly.. but i prolly need to explain that. i dont like the way its set up.. the buttons are too small (i didnt like that about TK's panel aswell) i dont like that it aint 19inch.. and i dont like it black.. BUT!!! this is my personal preference, some want it like that, some dont.. thats why midibox is so great.. if you dont like it.. build it differently! actually when i would choose between this one, or the sidstation.. guess who wins!! :P i just have another vision of how my MB_SID should look, that doesnt mean i dont like the looks, but i just want it different.. I DO applaud what is being done here.. Wilba has designed it in the most awesome(as in it strikes awe with me) way. so complete so well engineered.. it is truly a great inspiration and a great addition to the MB_sid (beside TK making the impossible possible(come on, putting the blue prints for the greatest sid synth online.. for free.. even having regular updates with a speed that sickens me.. and having a manual on top of that..)) AANNYway.. i actually ordered the base PCB.. as its a great way to update your own system (even when its not completed) and i'll just build my own CS around that.. in short i do like the design but if i had a choice (and i do have) i would have done it somewhat differently.. hope i dont start flamewars 2 return of the wicker people..
  9. i would love this code as im setting up a simple 12x5 matrix.. however i cant program asm.. so im at a loss where how to achieve it..would really appreciate the source..
  10. building the same.. could you please post the latest version of the code.. thx.
  11. hey always trust in yourself :D as for searching the forums.. thats what i did when i needed unmuxed pots.. i didnt PM people asking if they could help me.. but lets not start a flamewar.. we are all friends here.. and im glad you worked it out for yourself.. cuz you probably learned from it as well.. i wish you great midiboxing and may your midibox grow big and mighty.. i wish you al the best!
  12. think you can squeeze it in there Dengel?
  13. i am interested.. however i wonder how to drive the LCDs on the buttons (or am i misunderstanding that there are little LCDs on the buttons) is it just one display split into parts or eehm how?
  14. ill buy the lot.. and NLX.. we'll make a deal about the core and dins..
  15. to be blunt and perfectly clear.. i am NOT bill.. i have build a MB_c64 controller however i have never really used bill application.. i have only used the example code that TK provided.. with exception that i've added code to make the unmuxed pots send out midi CCs.. however this was done with other example code.. ive assigned the keys and pots in Max/Msp.. this how i have done this.. the example code is here i believe.. good luck..
  16. hey NLX, ik heb hier nog wel een zooi 18f452s liggen die nog gebootstrapped moeten worden.. zou'k tof vinden als je dat voor me zou kunnen doen..
  17. one of my encoders was damaged :( well the whole shaft was missing.. is there any way we can utilize the existing chips on the PCB boards? instead of normal DIN and DOUT.. making new PCBs for these things would be costly, and if the original mixer works with it why not midibox (or am i overly hopefull? or overly ambitious?) also does anyone here has the display aswell? dont suppose it would work with midibox straight out of the box. i cant seem to find the exact display, so i cant be certain if it is compatible.. it has 3 t6a39 column drivers and 1 t6a40 line driver.. <edit> hold up.. ive found info.. "T6963C/T6A39/T6A40" this could mean there is already a driver written for this.. however it apparently not possible to use it with midi.. me thinks a separate core for the lcd alone could be an idea.. then we could do more graphical things with it.. like nice pictures and such.. </edit>
  18. hey guys, i finally got my whole assembly.. however i seem to be missing 2 caps for the faders and one of the faders is damaged.. does anyone have either or both to spare.. favorably in holland.. when i disassemble the assembly i may even need other parts, as shipping wasnt kind for the buttons and other fiddly bits.. i want to reinstate it and update it so it will grow into a huge sequencing beast :D thnx, Ysbrand
  19. i'd be interested in an OSC module for Midibox..
