  1. how cool is that! especially given the amount of effort/cash reward.... I for one welcome our component overload smashTV!
  2. I will destroy you!
  3. or maybe they are really really big knobs
  4. bite my shiney metal ass
  5. MixMag
  6. yippie - mine arrived in the post today!! We've had a post strike so it's everything has been taking ages. Thank you so much Altitude - it put a big smile on my face when I got it at the post office!
  7. I've had a couple of weeks that have meant my brain is too full and stuff has been falling out to make room for new more important info coming in. I did send off the order and money to you right?
  8. I'm in the UK, so it's easy for me to order direct, but I'd like to join in if it helps you guys hit a price point and if it's not more trouble for you prof.... lemme know which way to jump... btw: only want one
  9. good find Twin-x! I'm in the UK so that looks like a winner for me....
  10. glad to be of service ;)
  11. put it this way - the entire mackie protocol to control IO in ableton for a LC/Mackie Control is written using remote scripts....
  12. wilba, i think you've created a monster ;)
  13. 1st question - have you uploaded the SID application on top of MIOS (sorry gotta check this 1st, even though I'm pretty sure you have if the LCD works)? if so it might be time to try one of the test applications which show all DIN, DOUT, AIN stuff going on in real time
  14. yes it should! I've used the ones from the 4501 DIL header, but you should be able to use the J7 pins too. hang in there dude, you'll get there...
  15. hey liinnerd, cheers for the info - but no problems here dude, had the midi feedback running for ages on 5 and i've been over on 6 for some time now.
  16. yup - that's what i meant.... wow - it's weird yours was on already - lucky you! took me ages to track down a solution.... you on Mac or PC? but also - the main point is of course, before you do lots of work on using the midifeedback stuff, you might wanna upgrade and go into the remote scripting - could save a duplication of work in the long run....
  17. it's not even on by default in 5 - you need to turn it on using a hack via an .ini file 6 uses remote scripts - even more powerful, so you can do everything you could do via midi feedback, but lots more I'm using the Mackie protocol and coding a C app to deal with it in the PIC...
  18. cimo - yeah, but i all changes once you go to 6, the midifeedback trick won't work.... julien - what info specificially do you need? I've done mucho digging into that field... The most exctining thing about 6 is they have released unsupported ways of using Python scripts to controll every single feature in ableton
  19. i'm fairly sure you know all this already but i forgot to point out that's all dpi related and inkjets can do 1200dpi upwards.
  20. I've seen ways of doing the transfer method using Inkjets too - BUT I've not used it yet (I'm using up my stock of photoboard) myself. Is the artwork okay once printed and then smudges as you iron on?
  21. ouch dude! rainbow cable is a beautiful thing.....
  22. try using an inkjet - i've had great results... And if you don't have one, you must have a friend/relative/neighbor with one who'll print you off a sheet. and if you really get stuck p/m me and i'll print one off and send it to you
  23. I just got a paypal postage message - yay!! ;D ;D ;D looking forward to getting my hands on the little sucker....
  24. I prefer the alternate design. I'll take 1 for sure.
