  1. fralin, If you have enough free space in the case, check this http://www.skycraftsurplus.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=439 Best regards, Asaf
  2. Thats not nice, Johnny is just different, not wrong ;)
  3. Thats a wonderful find Sasha, I have to say that I have some problems with the panel layout / design, but this could be a wonderful tool. I'll check how much they would want for this, if the price is right this could be a great substitute to making a mixer on my own or spending a fortune on the korg zero series.
  4. Yea, manly stuff can, at his best, be handsome
  5. I wish I could join, I'm not even low on money, just totally broke :(
  6. I Foona, Great looking box, if I haven't said it before. I think you have broke Sasha record with the knobs ;D
  7. Hi sonicwarrior, Can you please give more info on this project, I guess people would be interested if they would know what to expect. Best regards, Asaf
  8. € 6.12, going Once, going Twice....
  9. Thanks cimo, found what I was looking for. By the way I just had a look at your MagicBoogieBox, thats a great add-on, so... I WANT ONE ;D Regards, Asaf
  10. Hi chr0n1c, Wouldn't be any problems with the alignment of the panel when doing it in steps ? have you ever tried that. I guess that in normal panels a small shift in place won't cause any harm but on the MB-6582 there couldn't be any shift as the panel is placed on top of pcb's mount components.
  11. fralin, unless you want to make your MB-6582 panel in two pieces that wouldn't help here.
  12. Hello, A bit off the MB hardware parts but knowing people here know all thats going on... I'm looking for a 9V Battery Compartment, something like in the pictures below. http://www.banzaieffects.com/9V-Battery-Compartment-wide-pr-17484.html http://www.banzaieffects.com/9V-Battery-Compartment-deep-pr-17483.html The main problem with the one I have found is the price, if anyone know a place to get ones with a cheaper price It would be great. Thanks and best regards, Asaf
  13. Well chr0n1c, expect an email soon ;D Best regards, Asaf
  14. I have used a similar board in the past, for me a stripboard does a better work but I guess thats just me as the wireless matrix board require more planning before. I don't like planning most of the time.
  15. You've got a CNC, Forget the pcb's, how about some panels ? ;D
  16. ;D Derrick May was in Israel this Sunday, I know what you mean.
  17. The Chip on the left seems to be a 1.5A Adj. Positive Regulator, JRC as far as I remember is the old version which tend to have more ripple when it comes to audio equipments. LM317 should be a better replacement, just need to check pin orientations. The right chips looks like an ordinary 15V 1A regulator. I have no idea regarding the one in the middle.
  18. Great work Sasha, I think this is the first time ever I prefer the bluish light, maybe cause the diffusion or the camera it's just looks the easier on the eyes and blend nicely with the panel.
  19. nils, hope you're ok and not much was lost. P.s, people around here knows too much, maybe a sub-forum ? :o
  20. This sound like a nice Idea, I entered this field of DIY electronics and music instruments building last year with the intention of combining sound and visual in a better way then seen in a DJ - VJ show, I want the sound to trigger the visual and vise verse. I think that first trying to work with leds can teach you a lot about the interface you care for and the programing and (not but) after that I think that something more complex is needed as just light on / off + intensity can get boring, Just take a look at the oil lamp, it's simple yet fascinating as you won't see the same thing twice. If you're already going in the C language way search for some interactive interfaces that were built that way, this can give a better idea of possibilities. Hope to hear more on your future developments, Best regards, Asaf

  22. Hello all, I have just received the final price quote from Sifam, the person who handled the order so far left them last week thou the long wait. The updated price, after shipping + taxes is 0.20 GBP a knob, He forgot to mention the tax in our previous email but I guess it's a standard, I'm just used to, in Israel, that the price is with all taxes included. It's still, in my opinion, a good price for those knobs but need to check with the people involved. Please contact me as soon as possible with a Yes / No on this. EDIT : shipping cost refers only for the shipping from Sifam Best regards, Asaf
  23. Very nice indeed, thanks TK
