Madox: all good, just me being slow. Only one CPU being heavily multitasked.

All: I found one SID with a dead oscillator! Hooray! This means I'm not wasting my time with testing them first. I had a good run... not one broken SID in the previous thousand tested. The QuadZIF is working beautifully... I can load and unload SIDs with two hands and test/pack SIDs four tubes at a time (52 SIDs). Now all I need to do is speed up the cutting of chip tubes...

International customs have probably got to the point where they don't even check the packages coming from your address. Can't be that exciting opening all those envelopes to find just a few chips, unless your a midiboxer that is.

Your SIDs will arrive. They might be a bit later than the others on the message board. I had bought some in a previous sale and mine were roughly 1.5 weeks after most others on the forum. The US just takes a bit longer.  ;D

I'm in the US and mine arrived yesterday.  International mail to the US used to be much faster, but protecting America takes time and (lots of taxpayers') money.  I had a package containing three single INWO trading cards shipped from Australia shipped off to me in January and it took almost a month for that to arrive.  You're in America - so be patient and trust your government - EVERYTHING IS UNDER CONTROL (of a multinational elite corporatocracy).

Anyway, thanks Wilba!  Someday I will even put them to use :-)
