Hi guys

I set up a new bulk order page for those interested in the ALBS Waldorf knobs or the DK38 knob for the SEQ4:

http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=waldorf_knobs_bulk_order_2013

It's designed to run like the ALBS Waldorf knobs bulk order September 2012, hopefully even smoother  :queen:  -

The BO starts January 6th and will end on February 3th.

Ideas and bug reports are welcome!

Best

Hmm, this beckons the question if I should go for backlit knobs for the LED ringery (might be over the top) or just use my stash of opaques... Decisions decisions...

latigid on: What do you mean by price breaks?

Jojo: Take your time, no need to hurry. When it feels good, put your name on the list.

Peter: Welcome on board

Well, the price is fixed, because I can't look into the future and the more participants I have, the more work is involved. I think discounts are useful when we hit the 1200 knob barrier. But I don't think that is going to happen.

Dude, that's the right way Kristal= :). I am gonna think a bit on what I want, and jump in myself. I got a newfound love for the clear transparent hehe, but I gotta go over my collection to see how many needed.

Hawk, u're working on encoder-wall? :D hehe.

Technobreath: I'm glad you like it!

NorthernLightX: If you only need the datawheels, then the DK38 only option is the right thing for you.

Will be happy to jump on this one as well.  Need a datawheel and about 25 transparent reds.  Just waiting on my password change email (forgot what it was), for the wiki before I add my details.

Thanks for running this again.  You're the reason my MB6582's and soon the MBSeqv4 look so good :D

Cheers,

Arkay.

Hey kristal=,

i found some interessting datawheel knobs a time ago as i searched for a nice one for my SEQV4 and i found some nice at a german electronic distributor "voelkner" (has the same product range as "conrad"). I also testet the ALPS DK38 but i like the "Cliff Encoder Knob" more because better haptic feeling (it has a metal weight in its body). there are two types of them with different weight. i like the heavyer more. have a look to it:

the heavy one: http://www.voelkner.de/products/339068/Cliff-Encoder-Knopf-K18-CL71650B-Schwarz-Achs-Durchmesser-6-mm.html

the more lighter weight: http://www.voelkner.de/products/339070/Cliff-Encoder-Knopf-K18-CL71660B-Schwarz-Achs-Durchmesser-6-mm.html

same in different color: http://www.voelkner.de/products/339067/Cliff-Encoder-Knopf-K18-CL71650A-Grau-Achs-Durchmesser-6-mm.html

and the lighter one: http://www.voelkner.de/products/339069/Cliff-Encoder-Knopf-K18-CL71660A-Grau-Achs-Durchmesser-6-mm.html

the cheaper one is always the lighter one!

the only problem of it is that it is not for a "D"-shap shaft...that means not for the used encoders...but it works great...it fits and feels and also looks great!

here a picture of my SEQV4 with that datawheelknob. you could think about to offer them to the others too....they are realy feel better then the DK38...but they are more expensive!

here a picture of my SEQV4 with that knob fitted...

(here the URL: )

(i allready searching for the encoder knobs in the picture...i bought a SEQV4 CS Kit from SmashTV were they were part of it...he told me that the manufacturer of that knobs dont produce them anymore or they do it only you order a real big value.)

Short summary for the English speakers: no coverage from me, the knob is freely available. Plus unnecessary workload for me.
