In OnAir- and Broadcast-consoles, this Microswitch is used for "fader overpress". - The fader is calibrated in your application, so "0" is where the slider touches the switch. But it's a lot flimsier than I was expecting and I'm having second thoughts about it.Yes I saw those Roland Teaching Laboratory consoles as well - didn't get around to listing them here.
