  1. Well, mobile browsers have a tendency to be even less cooperative... But the problem is a different one: having another look I found that the link points towards a restricted section of the MIDIbox forum where only users with programmer status have access. It is mainly about a beta version of the nI2S synth running on the STM32 core.
  2. Ckeck your browser, works over here.
  3. Hi ellocoyugo, welcome here! Being a newbie does not exempt you from having to go through the whole thread... Read through it (again), and I am sure you will find an answer to your question. (Hint: you won't pay to TK...). Good luck, ilmenator
  4. I am not sure if we need another core option right now. I'd suggest to explore what we have first. I also see a lot of truth in Hawkeye's last post on the value of limitations. My personal 2 cents.
  5. MIDI is such a slow protocol in itself that it does not matter whether there is data coming in or not for the latency considerations you are discussing.
  6. Very nice find, thanks for sharing!
  7. I got some questions about the status of this project, so here is a little update: there is some weird problem preventing the new protoboard from working properly. I am not sure what the problem is here, so I'll have to get out the logic analyzer to look into the signals on the address and data buses. I had to move my stuff around in the house, so my "lab" is not fully functional right now. I am still at it, and it will be solved, I just need some time to look into it properly. Best, ilmenator

  9. Naja, das ist wohl bisher eher eine Dummyseite. Das "Firmenverzeichnis" enthält nicht einen einzigen Eintrag...
  10. Yay! :flowers:
  11. I notice that in MIOS Studio, the faders are counted from 0-7, whereas down in the "Fader which should be traced" selector they are counted from 1-8. Just a minor detail, but maybe that should be changed in future releases for consistency?
  12. YES! NO, you'll have to do that yourself! How? Read the first post in this thread. Good luck!
  13. Ever since I've been wondering why Norwegians don't put the cables at right angles into the walls?! In order to save a few kroner on cable length? Tsss...
  14. I have no idea what exactly you have been doing, so it's a bit difficult to analyze what went wrong. Maybe you should post the relevant code snippet? Use the "Insert Code Snippet" button from the Post menu!
  15. Well at least the buttons will have to be exposed to be any useful, don't you think?
  16. You will have to add your names to the list yourselves, otherwise it's not going to happen... Find the link in the first message in this thread.
  17. Thorsten, could you give a few more deatils about size of the PCB and button spacing? It seems the PCB could be useful for other applications as well, or is the button / LED matrix something very specific / exotic?
  18. There is some code missing here - that is the part in which you detect if a button is pushed. From your description I would suspect that you jump to your code above both when the button is pushed and when it is released (both events are detected by MIOS). Try to change that!
  19. Great project! I used to have one borrowed for a number of years, but the original owner wanted it back... it's a really nice sounding synth. Btw, would you mind uploading the PDF to the wiki that you link to from the wiki page? <broken record>Offsite docu bad</broken record>
  20. Good to hear and thanks for letting us know what did the trick for you!
  21. Create a link, then follow the link and answer 'yes' when asked if the page should be created!
  22. Look, you are using a 12V reg power supply to feed a 5V backlight - this is why I asked to consider your use case. I am not questioning the built quality of the power supply itself  . Maybe you could replace the 5V reg on the core module with one that handles higher currents?
  23. Is it also top for the use case at hand?
  24. Flachbandkabel kuerzen...?
