    Amazing how this pretty simple circuit tends to mess with people all the time :-) Let's hope your third build will work! (Maybe someone needs to write a step-by-step 100% foolproof tutorial on that one [not gonna be me]) :D

    Dunno about the rat, but what I can tell you is that the bluesbreaker and TubeScreamer will not yield good results without some changes to the circuit :-)

    Well, that kinda depeds on how you define a "filter" ;) Some of the tonepad.com fx are sounding rather nice with a SID and they're easy to build, cheap and only use +9V

    Smash is incredibly busy at the moment, there's strikes at some post companies, the customs agencies started taking interest in the packages... A lot of stuff is going on at the moment. Just hang in there, as Smash said "It'll be okay" :-)

    True as well, but that's not alkways the case - I had 5 and only 1 of them was ever plugged in wrong (on purpose) :-)

    Starte die Programme mal nicht direkt sondern aus der Konsole (cmd.exe), dann schließt sich das Fenster nicht gleich und Du kannst uns die genaue Fehlermeldung zukommen lassen.

    Can't check right now, as they are back home. But, they're the ones Conrad sells in their stores :-) I'll check when I get back home next weekend. Um, if I don't post an update here within the next 10 days, could someone remind me, please?

    At the moment it's based on the C skeleton which is most likely not gonna be the way to go, but it works really well for some basic testing.
