I have 10 local x0x builders that are interested in gray/black variant too, just so they don`t have to hunt knobs themself :P So it is probably about 100 peaces for me. I would take some more for me if there are white/black knobs.

I`m really sorry to hear that Alkex. :( I liked your SID too. What happened... It is physically damaged or electronics by electrostatic? I don`t really think you could ever charge enough for custom builds like this. So much work in it. I hope you`ll get as much as you can.

Lyle, those PCBs looks really good. I personally need PCBs horizontally for my project because I`m planing to house it together with double MIDI controller so I don`t have enough space, otherwise I would love to piggy-back them. I always liked that simple and clean approach. Tell me, are those regulators need any kind of heat sink if all boards are hooked on? If do, would you need to move them from each other to make some a room for it especially the negative regulator? Thank you for your work. I love it, especially way of chaining. :)

Well, my controller wan`t be LC too, but if you want to take maximum out of Live control, you need to use Mackie protocol. So, better read more about it now. ;)

No, there are no Yellow variant. Only red, white, black and gray. EDIT: I really find pointless to have printed piano keyboard and having note labels for every key. Often seen in alternative x0xb0x panel layouts. It looks like it is for kids so they can learn which key is which note.

Those are basics. I advise you to do some more reading about Live, as you might be missing something you mihgt like to have. I hope your controller will not be too much based on my idea. I might make some mistake too so you will make it too. ;D You should check the LC specification for Live to see what is supported and what not. I think Live needs much more mappable controls than it has now. I think for programmers it is same if 2 controls can be MIDI mapped or all.

Looking forward to see the results. I would really like to build it as I don`t have any kind of mixer, and this seams like a perfect solution for me.

TheProf just sent me 120EUR over WU yesterday as a loan without my knowledge. Thank you very much Mike. I don`t feel very peaceful about one more loan but I wan`t refuse it anyway. But, I want be able to do anything before next week as I`m just starting to work 8AM-11PM in next 5 days. I`ll ask one day off, next week so I can go to buy a material, and hopefully cut it same day. I`ll probably cut one panel out of Rowmark Texture I already have to test it. I`ll keep you informed.

I can`t call it fun, but hardy anything is fun and easy to do here. :-\ I would really like to offer you panel with this PCB, but there is no perfect and inexpensive all in one solution for metal panels. Laserable plasics would be good compromise. There is one local company that are making anodized CNC mill/engraved panels but they are probably expensive as Shaeffer. As we still didn`t find all needed parts I can "buy" some more time for these panels.

I can`t accept a donation as I cannot received money inexpensive way and have got no full PayPal account. For organizing x0x PCB batch I needed favor for money transfer. :-\ Not sure about cost of 1 panel. I need to buy whole sheet to do it. I have Rowmark Texture material left, but I would rather try some less flexible one.

Just to let you know why there are no news about panel... I spend half of salary for this months cutting the big sheet of screen of acrylic protectors for Wilba but Corel mess the DXF while importing so I ended with 260 pcs of protectors with wrong dimension. I`m really low on money right now, so I cannot buy a sheet of laserable Rowmark nor do the tests panel. Sorry everybody. If I get some money before next salary I`ll buy a sheet and cut one panel. Thanks for understanding.

Yes, but this dont exist now. I changed the design a little more. It is multipurpose encoder... for system functions, for MIDI audio mixer... Live shows only 2 sends visible, but you can add as many as you like. 2 sends would be really insufficient in any program, don`t you think? Are you Live user?

Rasteri, thank you for the wiki. I just started to look around for those faders you listed. vestax CF-CC crossfader looks cheapest of all and it still cost $129.00 :o What is the impedance of that fader and what is the cheapest crossfader that can be used for scratching?

I`ll wright a details one I finished it. I didn`t tested my concept but as the code isn`t custom everything is already there. Lower 2 rows of buttons are multifunction and they are changed with group buttons at most right. Nothing special about it but should be easy and quick to handle. This is done according to my perception so it might not fit everybody even I think it is pretty logical. If there are something you would like to know just ask. ;)

Thank you Ultra. Encoders are irreplaceable for some things, but I prefer pots for most of controls. I`m really missing small sliders for sends here. I always wanted to have it. At least 2 per channel, but I couldn`t fit it all on the panel I had in my mind. I originally had touch pad too and also removed it because of the space. :-\
