*1 year later* :poke: I haz no wai of getting MIDEH to mah computurrrrr nao, so i can't upload teh whole TWO patches i madez, neither can I download all the new patches in the sticky, but I'm really looking forward to trying them out!

  3. Mebbé we all make spam off fur of £1 nao?
  4. Heh, just stocked up on SIL/DIL Headers, and connectors from this guy, his prices are the cheapest i've seen. Almost tempted to buy the red/orange 4x20 LCD as a spare, but i already have 2 black on green as spares! He also sells, a set of angled SIL headers, connectors and crimps. Ill be using this kit to connect the cables on the CS PCB: http://cgi.ebay.ie/5x-Connector-crimp-Header-PIN-1x8angle-8crimp-complet-/170422616083 If the plastic is too wide on that right angled SIL header, you can order the kind Hawkeye used: I'll be crimping the crimps to the ends of these cables, which I'm currently using on the Base Board side: http://www.reichelt.de/Platinen-Steckverbinder/PS-25-8G-BR/index.html?;ACTION=3;LA=2;ARTICLE=32346 The height of those connectors is about half the size of the normal white connectors, which is essential due to the lack of space in the PT-10. The end result will be a combination of what i'm currently using and what Hawkeye used. Its probably the best completely detachable solution.
  5. Google translate returns: "I'll beat me off" WTF???? This is worst than the time i googled the german word TK posted for that penis size comparison activity that ye sick german's do!!! Edit: + Exclamation Mark!
  6. TK i never knew you had it in you, but that was comedy gold!
  7. POIDH! I'd be willing to help you but it would probably only end up 90% finished like my own mb-6582. Maybe stay patient til you find one of the regulars or someone you know is trustworthy thats willing to help.

Now that looks like a guitar that i could actually manage to play!
  10. Some very nice sounds in there, i love the beat also. List of gear used si vous plait? Oh and btw, LyssRock22 would get it. ;)
  11. That looks very nice hawkeye! Besides a little blurring its very hard to tell its not a green on black lcd.
  12. Of course not! What are you, crazy? :frantics: Hehe, 3 leds are not working, sometimes one or 2 encoders only work one direction, so basically it needs to be rewired /re-soldered, checked for shorts. Otherwise its running fine, need to add feedback pots then and it will be done!
  13. Very Basic, one oscillator drums. Could be a lot better with more sounds and variation, but it was my first attempt. Can't wait to try making polyphonic drums, MB SID has huge potential for drums.

Sexy! You haz found widespread PSU? Sammichh will make MBFM less neglected!
  16. After a while of messing around, the crackle seemed to disappear. The only real notable changes i made was changing the sample rate from 44.1khz to 48khz, and rebooted. Edit: I can confirm that it must be a warm up issue - the crackle totally disappears after about 20 mins after the mixer is on. Still a great mixer though, well worth the money, i almost payed the same price for a new DJX-700 way back when they came out, and this is a lot more mixer! The headphone output can be noisey also, the desk is well worth buying and spending the money saved on upgrading caps and op-amps.
  17. *cough!* http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/X32.aspx I actually bought a ddx3216 this weekend, but on closer inspection afterwards there is a crackle coming from the output - any output, regardless of what input is used, even the built in tone generator has a crackly sound coming through the output. I'm hoping its just a PSU issue (and not a dreaded DAC issue), and speaking of PSU that is primarily where the corners have been cut to make it affordable. There are many reports online of PSU's failing. This thread is a beautiful resource though, on upgrading the op amps, and later on in the thread; re-capping all caps in the PSU: http://www.prodigy-pro.com/diy/index.php?topic=29157.0 Also it appears Phonic have entered the lower price range of Digital Mixers: http://www.zzounds.com/item--PHOSUMMIT http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9RIDzT2NTA
  18. Hehe, i was just being a drama queen! going to read the translated version now.
  19. I found a linky to a page on the sammich with 3 nice audio samples at the bottom: http://www.bodyia.cz/sammichSID I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT GUY IS SAYING ON THAT PAGE BUT I LIKE THE SOUNDS AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THAT PAGE CAME UP WHEN I WAS REALLY SEARCHING FOR PICTURES OF THE BEHRINGER DDX3216 BUT A sammichSID ONE CAME UP INSTEAD AND I WAS LIKE THAT IS PRETTY COOL.

Looks like i'll have to be keeping my eye on this page every once in a while: http://www.revenue.ie/en/customs/businesses/importing/exchange-rates/index.html

Maybe upon request would be better then. I never knew the customs offices had their own interest rates, that sucks.

Can i haz a refund too? Great job Smash. I wonder if you could add the Core32 board with IC also? I guess it would be nice to have a script that takes it out if the exchange rate puts its value above 22 euro. Its currently just under 21 euro.
  23. You bet! Alkex built a midibox sid keyboard that is so Korg MS-20 like, it even has patch cables for modulation! To save you trying to find a 4 year old thread, here it is:
