yeah :) but, of course a DAW is nice for final productions, but currently live playing is real fun :)

  3. Finally back from a consulting trip to the U.S... :-) Why do americans have their aircons set to "arctic winter" everywhere? Struggling with a bad cold now, after having avoided that for the rest of the hard winter :-).

Practice/training after work, had to bring all the gear needed to make time. And if aliens would whisk me away that would be an added but weird bonus.

  5. Gas! Just managed to grab a mks 50 :-D. 1987 flashback in a box!

Fonda wasn't that old when the original was made. Which shows it wasn't exactly yesterday ;) As long as the remake doesn't include skanks like Snooki I'm all for it.

+1 on JF not looking bad at all in the classic one. But might be personal preferences :)

    4. technobreath

      technobreath

Hehe hawkie, I'm just having a bit fun here :) Of course she aint bad looking, but it's funnier to call her Old Fonda, just as it is more funny in 30 years when I retire to be called badoldbreath instead of technobreath :P

The concert at Circus in Stockholm was truly cool, laptop zombies and all. The music and visuals were the coolest bit. Wonder when they'll appear next?

    4. TK.

      TK.

I visited the munich concert last month and was amazed by the 3d effects in addition to the "kraftfull" sound! It was really worth to visit my second Kraftwerk concert, although the playlist was almost identical to 2004 - they are working on the perfect presentation and it's worth to follow the progress! :)

Yes, the first hit to the wallet was well noticable, but am scared of what happens now :-) Really considering 2 cent round leds instead of 10 cent rectangular ones :)

Are u rigged with big antennas too for your flying? Man, some of the model pilots looks like they bring their own radio commando center when flying hehe. Awesome!

    3. Hawkeye

      Hawkeye

yes the other guys here bring their mobile command centers as well, i´ve got it all rigged to a big rucksack, stormtrooper-style :). Gps auto-return-to-home stuff is ordered, nearly hit the lake last time, was very lucky :).

    4. technobreath

      technobreath

Hehe. When FPV flying it is mandatory yeah. Don't wanna send it to Davy Jones' locker just yet :P

      Schrabikus

Has SmashTV board holes for standard encoders or only for big exotic ones?

    3. Hawkeye

      Hawkeye

big-size encoders are needed, still looking myself for cheap "pushable" alternatives (for data entry accelleration when pushed), if you find something, let me know, please :) - horizontal distance between the three encoder pins, 4.3mm each. Distance from center encoding pin to "push" contact pin vertical 16.67mm.

    4. Hawkeye

      Hawkeye

note: the voti.nl SW-ROT-02 should fit the bill, 16mm size and "pushable" for acceleration - price is ok @ 1.58€ per piece, too... :-)

    4. wicked1

      wicked1

That's great! I used to fly rc planes, but no camera.. I designed and built the planes from scratch, but never could ever really fly them well. (compared to friends) Maybe I need to try it from the pilot's position w/ a camera.. That looks like a lot of fun!

  19. just hates customs, i mean, just a simple SEQ CS PCB it could slip through, once? Its not about the money, but about having to appear in person and wait for an hour to pay a few euros of fee after a 30km drive - one small customz bureau visit can ruin your whole day...

that system makes total sense - i don´t understand why they don´t implement it here, its not about the cash, its about the lost time and nerves :)

Sweden haz the same system as Norway, plus no EU customs. If only we did free trade with more countries...

thx a lot, man :) it is a keyboard v-synth, also used as my main midi keyboard - not quite cheap still nowadays, but fantastic sound bending possibilities - the v-synth gt is the followup model with even moar power, but is still way out-of-reach, dollar-wise :) have a greet weekend!

    3. technobreath

      technobreath

Hmm. I was thinking of getting myself a stage piano, but now that we bring up the v-synth topic, I need to reconsider once more at least ;)

    4. Hawkeye

      Hawkeye

The v-synth keys are quite light-weighted, but great nevertheless, recommended :-)
