Evtl sogar Gewicht? ;D
  2. LOL Fu*****ing CEWL idea! I love that PONG! *applause* ;D ;D ;D :-*
  3. Yupp, I agree there... ;) but anyhow: The flat side of the L-version is the same as the metal side of the "normal" 78xx
  4. Yes, there is some difference: Normal DJ-crossfaders do have two channels with logarithmic scale (and they react counterwise - as the one channel goes up the other one goes down). Faders for Midiboxes should have linear scale (so the middle position is giving you a perfect 63 - with logarithmic scale it would give you something like a 30 or so) - two channels are also not needed, as you only use one of them. Greetz
  5. 30 or 24 don´t matter to much. You won´t check the difference. Normally you should be able to use them right away. No problem.
  6. I don´t think this will matter to much. Just use the shield from every SID single. More important is to have a good shielding - use good cables there (like headphone- or diode-cables). Greetz
  7. I tried it and I am actually using it for building a Traktor controller. The MB64E is (now!) pretty much the same as the MB64, just that Encoders can be connected, too. It´s so damn easy, really! Just check the main.asm of MB64E.
  8. No problem, just use 4 of those 6 pins and measure out which you should use before.
  9. Reichelt also sells them: www.reichelt.de
  10. No idea... If you got the Stanton mixer check if the faders are 100% linear. If they are logarithmic (and most mixers do use logarithmic types) you can nearly forget it. For checking: Just attach an Ohmmeter and put the fader to the middle, if it reads about 5k (10 k total) it´s ok, if it reads something around 500 Ohm (10 k total) it´s a logarithmic type. I am actually using ALPS faders (ordered at www.albs.de) and they are damn good! Nice soft DJ mixer feeling! Perhaps you should consider buying the faders (from ALPS or P&G).. Greetz
  11. LOL ;D Neee, war ja nur ne "Anmerkung" - so Vorschlag halt. :) 8)
  12. www.albs.de Und siehe dieser Thread hier: http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php?topic=5430.0 Gruß! PS: Nächstes Mal evtl die sagenumwobene "Suche" Funktion verwenden? ;) ;D
  13. On - On normally means that the switch has two channels. In Position A (normal position) the first channel is on, the second is off. In Position B it´s vice versa. So the switch should have 4 pins (right?). Greetz.
  14. That should be it. Just try to get an app up there and running, should do it. Do you have no MIDI monitor? There should be some also for MAC. The device ID can be seen in particular MIDI streams from the core (e.g. the first Midi message you get after switching on).
  15. For 1 & 2 I can´t help, sorry! But 3: Yep, no prob. There´s no difference (electrically) between a momentary tact switch and a "normal" switch.
  16. To tell the truth, the output seems ok to me (pls correct me if I´m wrong). The SID is sending all it´s patches to the Midi Out (if it´s used in an Sequencer or similar the values are set there). I guess the not working DIN is something with interconnection core-DIN or on the core or whatever (I mean some hardware stuff). Recheck the DIN (also if the correct Shiftregisters are set in main.asm). Did you do all hardware changes (if needed) on the core? -> see UCApps.de
  17. So, nach der erzwungenen Pause (Forum leider down - aber jetzt wieder up *freu*) mal wieder ein Update der ersten Page. Ist wieder alles aktualisiert + dem neuen Angebot für alle Teile. Angucken... :D Gruß pay.c!
  18. Not really, the DIN just switched between 0 and 5 Volts, so the wire length is not so critical (it´s something different if we talked about AIN). *IF* you do get probs, you can either shield the cables and/or use a lower resistor value on the DIN (e.g. 4,7 k instead of the standard 10k ones). But as long as you are below 5 meters (=15 feets) you should be just well! Greetz!
  19. Check the datasheet if the contrast needs negative voltage. Some LCDs do and the core is not designed for that.
  20. Did you do all hardware mods? Means: new quartz (10 Mhz) and here: http://www.ucapps.de/mios_v1_7_hardware_mods.html When I upgraded my MB64 to the new MIOS, it worked out well. So... should work out somewhow. :)

    Jupp, haut gut hin. :)
  22. :P http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php?topic=5404.0 Greetz.
  23. DAMN! :o :o Why that´s kind of .... :P :P I´m in the middle of building my Traktor Controller for Traktor V2. Hope I can adapt that somehow... :P :P Perhaps some extension? Hope so... THNX for the info!
  24. Super schnelle Überweisung, alles wunderbar! Immer wieder! ;) ;D
  25. :D I * L O V E * my Kaoss Pad 2!!! :D Much better than the first Kaoss Pad and just *FUNFUNFUN*! And: No matter for what you use it (Studio, Live, DJing ...) it´s just one of the best pieces you can get (my opinion). You even can only use it as a 2-channel MIDI controller (e.g. Cutoff on X-axis, Resonance on Y-Axis, some TB-303 clone software behind it and -> GO!) and it´s still fun as hell.
