  1. I don't quite get the question, since there's only two core modules and both are good...
  2. Where are my knobs? I need them yesterday for a school project!!!!!!11111oneeleven
  3. The SID architecture. Nothing to worry about, that's what they do.
  4. It's a commercial MIDI interface by Tomtop made in China :)
  5. Wouldn't a link to a public shopping cart work better?
  6. Welcome aboard Thorsten :flowers: Ah yes, the joys of reinventing the wheel  No, it doesn't. That should answer all your other questions as well, right?
  7. I know this'll seem even more passive aggressive but I'll try to explain once more. This is a DIY community. Which means you'll actually have to do stuff yourself. For starters get a grasp of how midibox concept works, what modules exist, what they do and how you can combine them to build whatever it is you want to build. The best place to do that is http://www.ucapps.de. You see, everyone around here helps other for free in their own spare time, which they might well spend building their own projects. So the least you can do is to try to do what you can to help us reduce the amount of time we need to spend. And that works best if you ask precise questions. That's the right mindset for sure and it's a lot of information for sure. That's why you need to read read read and then come back with more detailed questions. So read this and the things directly linked from it and this. That should give you enough input to figure out what you actually want to do.
  8. That is most likely not going to happen for various reasons. It takes a lot of time to essentially rehash the info that's already there and just needs to be read by you. "I know nothing, what do I need?" typically doesn't get you a lot of useful answers. Show that you at least try to understand and do your part, ask more specific questions and you'll certainly get a lot of support here. For starters, dig through ucapps.de and find out which box you actually want to build.
  9. How about you guys simply use the midibox forum for the time being? It's sort of a midibox project after all ;) Adding a dedicated section is not really an issue.
  10. The only parts [noticeably] affecting the sound are [in the output buffer and] the two filter caps. Not directed at the OP but the general: Please people, do not go all tinfoil in here. It's bad enough in the guitar fx pedal forums...
  11. No mods are needed for a 1.7a -> 1.7303e upgrade.
  12. You can send him a PM here on the midibox forum.
  13. Davo: Browse the repository and you'll find my "virtual analog" core32 synth. And no, you will not be able to do a "good and authentic" Minimoog Emulation on an stm32. Something that roughly goes in the same direction and is wicked fun to play with - absolutely :)
  14. It aborts the function if error != 0 and returns the value of error. So what you are doing now is ignore the error that apparently happens.
  15. I hereby declare that this is never ever going to happen and close this thread to prevent further ridicule and waste of time.

    MF MODUL Probleme

Suchen: AUAIMBCTG "Lustige Dinge": nicht hilfreich, gib details. Erst alle einzelnen Komponenten zu laufen bringen, dann zusammen stecken.
  17. I really tried to understand what your problem is, but I honestly can't. So I'll try to tackle each part individually, maybe that helps. The bankstick is RAM not ROM. That's easy to explain. "Offset" is the address the data will be written to on the bankstick. Since each patch is ~256 bytes the first patch gets written to address 0, the 2nd to 256, the third to 512... So if you shift the patch number left by 8 bits, it's the same as multiplying it with 256. Which means it translates the patch number to the memory address. Hope that helps.
  18. That signature said something along the lines of "rtfm" combined with a link to the forum and ucapps search page ;)
  19. That sounds like a path issue rather than a version issue to me, then again, I am a complete mac-noob ;)
  20. Kinnings, mach mal sachte hier, bitte.
  21. That's the correct one and .999kHz is definitely close enough to 1000Hz :)
  22. Um. Yeh. What you want to do is to essentially BUILD an IC from discrete parts. I got that. I just wonder how you would go about doing that without the parts, just using copper.
  23. Pretty much everything but 2 and 4 makes it virtually impossible. How on earth do you want to build an IC from copper only? That's like building an entire car from gasoline.
