  1. The pdf says: MIOS based controllers: just chain it with the DINX4 button modules @J9!!! I edited the picture to show you what i mean.
  2. Shouldn't you connect the DIN1x for switches to J9 and then the DINX4 for the encoders to the DINX1 from the switches? Just as it says in the comment of the pdf you linked to. Just like in this picture, just leave out the led and ledrings.
  3. M-Audio is indeed a nightmare driver wise. So how do you record your songs then? You cannot do that with the SEQ V4 ;-)
  4. I don't have any recommendations, as i do not own a usb audio interface. As for suggestions, i would personally go for one of these three: RME Babyface Focusrite Safire 2i2 Roland UA-22 The RME is pretty expensive. However they have very solid driver support. So you can use it for a long time to come. But then again you could probably pickup a new focusrite or roland in two years and even save some money.
  5. Yeah, same thing here. I am basically waiting to solder them until i have a frontpanel so that i can line them up properly. But like you i have been waiting for that spark. I did generate a box a while back (can't remember which website). But after some troubles with converting the box pdf to svg i kinda parked the project
  6. Do those switches fit on the pcb nicely? The ones on the bom from reichelt just fit so so. I think the footprint is a bit off on those.
  7. Ah ok, i thought you maybe made it with 2 pieces of acrylic behind eachother. But this is much cheaper and looks great. Did you use the 1SBLK caps?
  8. Looks nice Altitude. I like the tight design. Edit: Just saw the new pics in the gallery. That v4L on the side looks awesome
  9. 18F452 should still work. You just cannot enable an AOUT module anymore. You do get a lot more features with the 18F4685. I think the random patch generator is something you do not want to miss out on.

    07. Aluminium printout

Johan, that looks really great. I would just be a bit scared the drilling would ruin it all. Be carefull! Curious to see the end result.
  11. I need a couple as well. But i am not in a big hurry. So if me ordering another 4 takes your order over 100 dollar, i am willing to participate. Otherwise i am gonna wait until i need something more. Paying more shipping costs then for parts feels wrong ;)
  12. And unfortunately it continues with: Doonlidly BIONEEENVENRY Ansxelqw allcsfrom SmegeInsece
  13. Yes, thats the cheapest option. Well if you count the pins, then you may be able to choose a shorter row.
  14. Take your pick: Any 2,54mm jumper will do For the socket just cut up this: SL 1X50G 2,54 or find a shorter one
  15. This one is missing the mounting holes at the front. The one Alitude has linked is cheaper here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SD-Micro-SD-Card-Breakout-Module-5V-3-3V-Compatible-e-/281116152546?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4173d412e2
  16. Gee, why did nobody do a pull?  Besides a quick look at the manual also makes it clear you need a ram chip(s) as well and a DAC. So that does not sound so easy.
  17. Required parts for MB808: 1 x MBHP_CORE, stuffed with PIC18F4620 2 x MBHP_DINX4 (only 6 74HC165 shift registers used) 2 x MBHP_DOUTX4 (7 74HC595 shift registers used) 1 rotary encoder (for tempo, could also be used for additonal purposes in future) 33 buttons 35 LEDs (33 could be integrated into buttons, 2 additional LEDs to display selected layer and record mode) BASE BOARD : BD, SD, MA, CP VOICE BOARD : HHs, CY, CB PERC BOARD : TOMS/CONGAS, RS/CL Documents how to link the stuff:
  18. If you want a MB808 anytime soon, the scenario you describe is the best one. I recently had the voice board made for me. Haven't started building yet tho. But if you use the search option you will find enough info how to link sequencer to the voiceboards.
  19. I think this post from Phil has the diagram. Don't forget to read his comment as there is a mistake in the picture.
  20. Unfortunately there is no easy option to report spam in Recent Status Updates. But the following users all have spam in their status: OMillaWanilla wharsedyday incepaype Rubydwarf CrefeVobwer ukuznya Lyncreseany
  21. Seriously, Windows XP is from 2001, SP1 is from 2002. We are talking about an OS which is more then a decade old. If you are still using something that old, you are bound to run into trouble. Maybe we should also mark MIOS as not Windows 95 compatible :pirate:
  22. Good to hear you and your family are ok Tim. Sad times for the people who lost their loved ones and their livelihood.
  23. Ok, good to hear. Waiting for your test results
  24. I would ask Hanrun for a sample if i were you, before organizing that BO.
