  1. So you need to apply the voltage to J2 and not J1. J1 is directly connected to X1, so it does make sense that you don't get any power up. Also you do not need to remove components. You could have just left them as is. It only states you can leave them out (to save on components).
  2. Yes there certainly is: and it is looking very cool indeed
  3. Theoretically it is possible to connect both AOUT_NG and QUAD IIC. The big question is what application are you going to run on the LPC17 for this? MB CV is PIC_Core and MB CV V2 is still in progress and the new STM32F4 is highly recommended for this. Looking at http://www.ucapps.de/midibox_cv_v2.html the DOUT option is available.
  4. I think you have two options psu wise either you go the sammichsid route, or go with a switching solution.
  5. Which foto? And i doubt it will work. But you can always give it a try for 1,95 euro. It is a bit of a pain to desolder though.
  6. The caps need to be able to withstand the rectified voltage, no need for low esr ones. So use a 25V one: RAD 105 1.000/25 but i would personally take a 2200u one . For the non polarity ones use X7R-5 100N or Z5U-2,5 100N
  7. I can confirm this is still a good option. I recently ordered two boards from above buyer. Connected the board without removing buffers to LPC17 and i could see the sdcard being formated in MIOS Studio.
  8. Thanks Kristal=, i got the last two at that shop
  9. I just go two pieces from http://www.we-shop.eu/MagJack-SI-60024-F::3631.html
  10. I am running Ubuntu on my headless server. So it has no monitor/keyboard or mouse. I can just turn it on/off with the power button. Not sure if it is needed on your organ console to migrate. But for a build distro i would prefer Ubuntu. But if you want to you can run the ISO and install to hdd.
  11. I would use Ubuntu 12.04 LTS instead of puppy Linux. Infact i do.
  12. I looked on the Embedded Artists Site there is no mention there of a Rev C. The link on the page still goes to Rev B schematic. Maybe it's worth sending them an e-mail.

  14. Have you tested this with LPC17 Based Core?
  15. PCB from Smash. I can order them in Germany but the transport costs are something like 15 euro.
  16. Does anyone have one or possibly two spare for me? Would be much appreciated.
  17. I tried to download it from svn website. But that doesn't seem possible. I get the error: Unable to open file: MIDIbox_CV_V2.jzml.r1887 But you can copy and paste it from here to a file called MIDIbox_CV_V2.jzml
  18. Not sure what's more amazing, the musik or the flying. I assume the camera is not a life feed? At 2:21 flying past those houses seems dangerous. Also what altitude do you reach? Looking at the footage at 1:15 i would assume at least 2km.
  19. I have been keeping my eye on this one as well: http://www.christian-hartig.de/TR-8060/ He combined all the boards into one pcb.
  20. As far as i know (and have) there are 3 voice board: BASE BOARD : BD, SD, MA, CP VOICE BOARD : HHs, CY, CB PERC BOARD : TOMS/CONGAS, RS/CL

These are pictures of my Midibox in progress...
  22. After adding the Seq4l page i noticed there wasn't one for the Seq 4 either so i made a very basic one aswell: http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=midibox_seq4. Maybe you can add the case to it?
