  1. +1 The MB6582 is a much bigger project, and it takes quite some time to source all the parts. Better start the sammichSID first, it is a much easier and much smaller project.
  2. Thanks Hawkeye! I'll try going to a store if I find the time, but I think I'll just order online, always such a hassle going to real stores ;) Thanks for the tips rosch. I'm not planning to build a Midibox64 though ;) I'd really like to have some knobs on the keyboard, as well as Sequencer Rec/Play buttons. I think that would make for a really nice workflow, being able to record sequences with CCs into my MPC without ever taking my hands off the keyboard. Thanks nebula. Do you have some more details maybe? Do you use one, or have you used one? Thanks jojjelito. The K5000 sure looks nice! I'll keep it in mind. It's a little bit over my budget though...
  3. Yoyo! I'm selling my Vaco Loco TRON sequencer. It's a miniature 8-track 16-step drum sequencer. More info here: http://www.vacoloco.net/synths/tron/ Watch the videos! It's a very nice and very small sequencer. Ideal for live performances! I'm selling it because I bought an MPC which replaces my TRON + Yamaha SU 10 combo. It's nicely built by me, complete with case :) I'm selling it for just a little more than I paid for the parts kit: 180 Euro + shipping depending on where you are located. Cheers! flip
  4. Yo! I want to buy a new Midi keyboard. It should be a good quality build (no cheap plastic stuffs) and have nice keys. A few controllers would also be nice to record some CCs into my MPC and hopefully soon the MBSEQv4 :) I do not want fancy things like USB audio interfaces or stuff like that... Oh yeah, it shouldn't be too expensive (250 Euro absolute max). I'm looking at the CME UF50/UF60 Classic at the moment. Is there anyone here with experience with those keyboards? Do you have any other suggestions? Looking forward to your answers :) Cheers! flip
  5. Definately! Take all the time thats necessary. I'm in for a set of panels too! :)
  6. Wow, great sound! I would also be very interested in your patches ;)
  7. Thanks rosch! Here's the link:
  8. Niiice!! Congratulations! Do you have a bigger picture? It's hard to see everything on the one you posted.
  9. Wow, what a shameless marketing phrase... I love the SID sound, but this makes it sound like the sammichSID was a replacement for all these synths and drumcomputers... and more, of course ;)
  10. Beautiful! Nice work!! :)
  11. Yo. I have not received a PM although I'm on the list. I'm getting scared because of the deadline ;) Should I just send the PM with the template from your post, or wait some more?
  13. Just put a potentiometer in place where the series resistors for the LEDs are, regulate until the brightness value is right (keep in mind that it still should not be too bright when there are many LEDs). Take the potentiometer out, measure the resistance. Then put resistors with that value in place. That's how I did it. :)
  14. Wow, sounds good! Would be awesome to have it actually talk.
  15. There was an article about it on Make yesterday: http://blog.makezine.com/archive/2011/05/25-usb-stick-pc.html
  16. This: I heard someone designed a nice Midibox-based clone of it
  17. Ghettolicious! Cool stuff moogah! :)
  18. Yeah. They made a cool soundtrack for a shoot 'em up game, you can download it on their website for free: http://machinaesupremacy.com/music/jets-n-guns/
  19. Hey Lucem! I second that you should change your mind ;) And I think it is absolutely OK to ask more for it, I also paid about 700 Euro to build mine.
  20. Oh hey i choose Yes! ...and No! :)
  21. Cool! Nice work!! :)
  22. Better keep it, one day you will really regret selling it.
