  1. great news! funny thing is i forgot the molex connector in my last Reichelt order  but i forgot other stuff as well... so ordering time again.
  2. sure Lamouette, i can give you a chip (and pcb)
  3. i'll take care of one of your left over MB6582 windows if you agree :)
  4. well, whatever group buy (or the like) may happen please count me in for 1x MB6582 window for the regular 1.5mm panel
  5. there will be no bulk order anymore for the LPC17 core since they are readily available from SmashTV (full kits even!) click here: SmashTV's shop
  6. yup, if they could laser that groove i'd have asked frank about it. so you can mill it? that's great, i need one too (who don't :D ) (only the 6582 window, i got my Seq windows from schaeffer last year)
  7. i got one left with a few resistors already soldered. keep in mind that the SSM2044 board is a dual channel VCF and requieres 2 SSM2044 chips to be complete. so for 2x stereo setup you will still need to find another board.
  8. you'll need to ask Wilba and/or nILS about the case files.
  9. amazing work! i need a clear screen for my 6582 hahaha but seriously, you did an awesome job. knowing how crooked woodwork can be done, this looks like an advertisement saying buy me
  10. i'm not entirely sure either. i guess it's ok if there's no sound with cutoff 000 and the envelopes work and resonance have an effect. but there's no reference i'm aware of. would be good to know, though yeah i've also tested more newer type chips. my 6581 had massive problems which got better when i powered them with 12V (doh) but i wasn't able to tell either if they are fully working or even if i've tested enough aspects. some of mine had problems with osc waveforms, i think one with a not working cutoff control. so i bought a couple more last year to be sure i have enough for my 6582. but the 6581 all sound 'kinda' similar. there's a bigger difference in sound with a 6581 R4AR.
  11. you can get the switches and buttons in low quantity (x0xb0x sets) in germany from SubStyler's shop
  12. i tested with envelope on cutoff, trying resonance too, then see if the different waveforms work, and noise. i also tested the global vca adsr, but that always worked. i believe in 6581 it's normal that not all MB waveform mixes work but i really don't know for sure without reading everything again.
  13. yay! glad everything went well :) just added a set of red waldorf knobs to the list
  14. SeqV4L and echo base pcb, midipal, thomas henry boards and P401 knobs are gone. thanks guys! bassboy spoken for.
  15. :D could be i'll sell my white opaque case filled with the 4pm Shruthi! but need to make it first. ok i'll pm you later about the Thomas Henry pcbs (reserved)
  16. ok, Set of P401 1x AY-3-8912 Echo base pcb MBSeqV4L CS pcb spoken for. added Bassboy to the list
  17. ok! just updated 1st post with the midipal, rest will be there tonight.

    Rectifier

the first 2 digits are the maximal allowed incoming VAC, the second number is the maximum of mA, so a B80C1500 means bridge rectifier for max 80V alternating current and a max of 1.5A. if they have a matching pinout to the one recommended you can use higher values.
  20. i've experienced the other direction. a band mate who always was a great abletonist is buying analogue synthesizers now and even wants to get rid of his mac, which i never would have imagined. i think it has to do with what you're used to. when people grow up with mp3 it's no wonder that they think it's good enough. there's also no point in hooking a record player to the typical new garbage 'amps' that are made for this quality, it's instant mp3 too. but like that guy, so he's getting used to a different sound and over time he probably realizes that his stuff doesn't match a setup that's entirely tube amps and analogue gear (apart from the digital / hybrid synths i'm carrying in there, and i notice it too with my DCOs hehe)
  21. nice, could you provide a part number or link for the one you use please?
  22. so it's time for me now to figure out how the SMT LED backlighting is done :)
  23. i guess the reason for the price is the extensive cutting. it looks good that way, but every individual MIDI labeling adds to the cost. maybe if you reduced the writing to just I1 O1 I2 O2 you could have saved a lot of money, but, man, it looks good :)
