seekwhensir Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 :o I've seen the future...or what is to become of it :oThat could have only been more exciting.......in the dark!!!
Twin-X Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 Nice, with 4 line LCD support ;-)Sounds great!Yes i noticed this too. Or i am missing alot or is this a new feature? And wonderful demo.
stryd_one Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 It's new-ish, i think it hit only a couple builds ago. It adds a nice balanced look to the box doesn't it? Or maybe that's just my symmetry OCD kicking in :)
TK. Posted July 14, 2008 Author Report Posted July 14, 2008 Thank you! :)Too bad, that the audio quality of the YouTube video is so terrible - on the other hand, it adds some extra filth ;)4x20 screen: yes, thats a new feature especially made for MB-6582:The upper line shows the menu page name + selections (here Left/Right oscillator #1)The lower line shows a bar graph of the selected parameterBest Regards, Thorsten.
Wilba Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 I wonder why is there a spike in requests to be notified when MB-6582 PCBs become available.Maybe this demo was blogged somewhere.Hmm...http://matrixsynth.blogspot.com/2008/07/midibox-sid-v2-bassline-demo-5.html ;D
stryd_one Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 I'd be more surprised if those guys didn't blog it heh
m00dawg Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 Agreed. The demo itself is a pretty cool little song and, knowing it's coming from SIDs is even more awesome! I've been following the MidiBox-SID project for years now and I never really thought SIDs could be made to sound like that! So far, I find myself still listening to the demo at least once a day! Nice work!
malekko Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 simply fantastic!i just go t the notice of my baseboard kit shipping from smash...so this really adds the fuel to build it up!!!
