    Fully stuffed

    gratz :frantics:
  2. What cable lenght are you using now?
  3. It looks hardly better then on the initial mockups.
  4. Although not easy, i would try a different PSU. The PSU is probably a switcher, which can cause noise if the switching frequency is low.
  5. Consider yourself 'weggejorist' For the non-dutch guys here. It's a comment from the website GeenStijl, when they remove a post. As their virtual moderator is called Joris von Bloghausen. It seemed like an appropriate statement in this case :ahappy:
  6. You should really make a seperate topic for your problem.
  7. Your reply just makes me sad. If you want everything handed to you, go buy a ready made product. We put effort in explaining stuff to you. And you can't be asked to read a simple forum topic? Maybe you should take your name of the list. 'Cause i am pretty sure that when building a Seq you will need to do a lot more reading of wiki, forum and frontpage.
  8. Elektron's ASID works reasonably well on Windows 7 64 bit with MB.
  9. I possibly thought wrong : 1) I thought smashtv is an electronic-shop like there are many. Nope, he is the only one who has profesionally made pcb for midibox projects. 2) I thought Tim has connections in some way with that electronic-shop smashtv. Tim=smashtv 3) I thought smashtv has many kits, like shown on there website, possible to be orderded. He has a lot of pcb most of them ready to ship, but you are signed up for a kit and with hard smd soldering todo, it's not that easy. 4) I thought Tim just needs to group and pass the 'MB-SEQ V3/V4 PCB Bulk Order' to smashtv which would collect all PCB's and parts for him. Look at 2. 5) I think (thought) all soldering needs to be done by myself, except the smd on the older core-boards (now probably replaced by the Expresso-board). Collecting and sorting all the parts needed for a kit is not an easy task. It is a lot of work. 6) I thought Tim's job is to create all seperate collection for each person on that order-list. Job is a big word. He invests a lot of time in the Midibox community. A big part of his time is involved in the smashtv shop. As i said to collect the parts and soldering the board is not a simple task. It is time consuming.

    ebony +smd seq lite

Lovely work there Peter. I really need to get some ebony leftovers as well
  11. Joris, the MBHP_CORE_LPC17 is a PCB. So no soldering required. You need to buy the Expresso part yourself. The old core32 however does need heavy soldering. Tim tries todo this as fast as he can. But he has a day job as well. So it is all spare time he is investing here. Hence the comments about you being rude. Tim is putting in a lot of effort, and i am pretty sure there is no big profit to be made. So the word of the day is patience.
  12. Don't think anyone made a effort to make a fully documented project out of it. But it's basically a simplified MB64 tied to a DB50XG with midi.
  13. Not to discourage you or anything. But personally i am not impressed by the sound quality. I am pretty sure that a DB50XG (or 60XG) which can be bought for around 20 Euro on ebay sounds a lot better. And it's not even that hard to make it into a midibox project.
  14. I suspect his Kraftzwerg. :shifty:
  15. Almost sounds as you somehow mixed up the 7812 and the 7809.
  16. If you live in holland....why don't you order RPT-60B. Several people have bought it and it works great with MB6582.
  17. Well switching is not necessarily a bad thing. You just want a psu with a switching frequency which is reasonably high. With this i am not sure. Oh wait the 47-440Hz is input freq of AC. The Meanwell PSU mentioned earlier in this topic is also from the switching kind. To be honest, i don't think you can easily find a pre-made linear PSU which can deliver 30W. Allied does seem to have something similar: Mean Well RP-65B to what NorthernlightX is using. Not sure if you need a big -12V line.
  18. Only downside is MBCV doesn't have a sequencer option.
  19. What specs make you say that? If i go here My browser window titel is: COSEL's switch mode power supplies: RMC Series Then if i look in the Datasheet PDF it says: FREQUENCY[Hz] 47 - 440 or DC (the DC only works if the INPUT is also DC) The heavy shielding is also a hint. That's not really needed with a linear supply.
  20. I think you need the MB CV.
  21. Make sure the switching frequency is high enough before you order it.
  22. Thanks TK for making that clear. Since i don't have an IOS device i had no idea that Lemur did such an complicated job. And apperantly i didn't read your previous post mentioning touchOSC either  Anyways hopefully there will come some kind of solution for Android too. But Liine doesn't seem to have Android high on it's prio list.
  23. Maybe there is a future for android with TouchOSC. There is an editor for it (Windows/OSX/Linux). So i assume a compatible template could be made for it. However the editor seems to be only for iPad/iPhone atm. So not sure it will work for the Android counterpart. Edit: It won't work. Apperantly the next update should fix that.
  24. I have been enviously looking at the OSC iPad combo. But i could never get myself to spend the big load of cash on a tablet. Recently i got a cheap chinese android tablet. Only 8 inch, but good enough for couch surfing. Never figured this would come in use in the studio. Well today i discovered some interesting software which i did not want to keep from you. It starts with: rtpMIDI The rtpMIDI-driver is a virtual MIDI-driver which allows DAW-applications to communicate via network with other computers. It's for Windows and yes it is compatible to Apples implementation. And its free. The second part is (this is where my elcheapo tablet comes in): TouchDAW It's an android app which let's you control your DAW, play an instrument in Piano mode or XY-pad mode. I tried it and must say it works pretty good. I expected the latency to be quite obvious, but to my suprise it works pretty fast. There is a free version of the app. But that doesn't support multitouch. The paid version does however. If you want to give it a try: Quickstart And yes i know this is not equal to OSC. Maybe this will change in the near future as TouchOSC for android is getting close.
  25. Happy New Year, hopefully with even more amazing midibox stuff :)
