  1. Does anybody have a recommendation on a reasonable price/quality rack case in europe? I bought some at www.pollin.de they are horrible. I think they are the same ones that banzai sells. They look the same as this picture that Rosch posted. All crooked and you have to bolt all the panels together.

    Filtrex

    How was the banzai case?
  3. I ordered one at iprototype.nl...let's see if it is a good substitute. Update: I received it today. Physically fits perfectly and the specs it seems to be pretty similar.

A cheap decent case is hard to find. I bought some at Pollin.de. But i find them pretty crappy.
  5. I have to get some a couple too. Think you can buy em in germany. Maybe this will work?
  6. In Europe it's not uncommon to do a bank transfer. But then it is relatively easy and without any cost nowadays. In this case it sounds like it's easier to use paypal.
  7. Mouser partnr: 887-300P14-U
  8. It was a joke...hence the wink :) Since you have a rounded corner on the top panel...and straight corners on the side panel.
  9. Zeker er staat hoeveel nederlanders, niet hoeveel in nederland woonachtig ;-)
  10. Looks pretty good. How are you gonna fold the conners on the side panels?

Good idea. I never liked that soldered on cable solution.
  12. I don't think 12,1V should be a problem. Maybe your 6581 was already damaged?
  13. Thought so. No i have the TM3030 pcb already. Must say the Filtrex II looks tempting as well. So you are building two?
  14. Oakley Sound TM3030...you?
  15. I ordered mine from mouser a couple of weeks ago. That have the same list price. So i don't need it anymore.
  16. Can't wait :ahappy:
  17. Bestel een print via low value order bij smashtv en een lpc1769 bij embeddedartist. Meer kans denk ik zo.
  18. This has been discussed. But you probably don't have access to the programmers launch. So a quick snippet:
  19. If you use the low value option of the US-based shop, there is little chance you have to pay custom duties.

I make my own cables. Thomann has cheap cable: http://www.thomann.de/gb/cordial_cmk_222_sw_mikrofonkabel_100m.htm?sid=838a3b6b3cae8e8ac53a4f421aecd892 and i bought a shit load of Amphenol connectors from Banzai Music. You can make a lot of cable from 100mtr :frantics:
  21. Also couldn't resist
  22. Still have to put mine in a case too. A case that would resemble Hawkeyes build: would be ideal for me. I find the standard plexi "case" to big and bulky.
  23. If you want to improve over a clothes-iron, there is a simple mod for a GBC Heatseal H65. You then feed the pcb through it a couple of times from different angles. It works quite well.
  24. For some more diy FM madness. I came across this by accident: http://www.wix.com/tx81zt/tx81zt#!about-tx81zt
  25. I believe its this page: http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=wilba_mb_6582_base_pcb_construction_guide&s[]=revision&s[]=1 It mentions that rev 1 pcb bought directly from Wilba are missing tracks. The links on the bottom are from the old forum software. So they don't work anymore. It seems older posts are still available. But you can only manually browse them, the search option won't find them. I can't seem to find the specific ones mentioned on the above wiki page though.
