Drilling ring and oled window in PMMA

The last few days where very frustrating cause of many bugs that apeared during the assembling of the lighting desk. Thanks again to TK who gave me the Input which helped me to overcome this issues. Some of them are still there but they will be solved after i put it through some Testgigs. For Backup there will be always another Lightingdesk connected in a Fulltracking Session next to my MA4PC.

The enclosure came in on Thursday and finished building it on Friday! Woohoo!

And it works :)

First ring is gradation from green to red with its step index in white Second blue to red, step index off

Use Black(off) and white colors, keyboard like.

Max525 Aout module with gate buffer/adjustable level shifter

This is the real deal. My design printed on a sheet of aluminium 300x200mm for about $28. The texture is great, the finish is matt and looks quite professional in my opinion. My only reservation towards this approach is that colors from screen and the finished product differs quite alot. Now the next thing is to drill the holes for the components.

My beloved SEQ V4 The UI is reduced for my needs - working with it is very intuitiv always loved this Step-Buttons blue LED's are indeed very bright (used 3k) but the photo over-accentuates it case was ordered from Schaeffer - great Quality!!! This Sequencer is AMAZING

Too bad I missed that last Waldorf knob buy, but it still looks pretty awesome, IMHO. This thing came out amazing. Thanks so much TK and MIDIbox for all your work on this. Thank you to the community here too, who helped me at each step of the way that I found a way to mess up. Seriously, I'm gonna get a lot of great use out of this box. I'm looking forward to trying another one soon.

The first version of my budget enclosure for the SEQ. The overall height of the enclosure will be 46mm. Mounting hole are for the LPC17 Core, AOUT NG, and the Quad IIc_Midi. The current design quotes at $46 USD.

If you are looking for a low-fi audio filter (VCF), look no more... The Polivoks (google bareille polivoks for a free schem) filter is awesome! It screams (with high resonance), it is gritty, it extends the bass (in lowpass mode), and it can be overdriven nicely by applying quite hot input and attenuating the audio signal after the filter. The photo shows a stereo Polivoks build on a veroboard, it was routed by hand, that is why both sides are not visually identical... also due to small differences in the resistors and pots, they sound a very slight bit different, which only adds to the character :-). The external VCF inputs are not wired up yet (empty TL072 slots)... i am also missing a MIDIbox CV, or an AoutNG on the SEQ, which would be fantastic for filter automation.In conjunction with (relatively) low-fi sound sources, in this case, when using it on rather old-school SID patches is great, in stereo it is twice the fun (most analog filterboxes are mono). Hope to demo it soon! The slot is a 1/2 U (height unit) el-cheapo steel rack panel from ebay (ca 3€), drilled with a press drill, attached to a cheap selfbuilt wooden enclosure. Total material cost for the depicted filter was way less than 50€, as no special parts are used... Many, many thanks once again for the tip, J! Finally it works! 2xMOS6581 -> 2xCEM3379 VCF/VCA (CV range 0-5V for Cutoff/Resonance/Gain) modified AOUT_NG to output 0-5V from 12V bipolar supply. perfoboarded CS and modulation matrix with cheap 8x8 led matrix from ebay.
